I finally hit 66 Not Route 66 |
Well here it is the day after my Birthday.
Got new glasses no more buying glasses from the
dollar store, unless I lose them again. I have left
glasses in Canada, Georgia,Seattle. This time I
will put them into a case and stick them in purse
before laying them in wherever.
Got calls from most of the boys. A beautiful
Vegtable platter from my daughter-in-law Shar. A
beautiful vase held by three adorable Cherubs.
Hubby disappeared after I mentioned it would be
nice for the first time in my life if he would
have just thought about me.
Came back with a boquet of Carnations. I put them
in the vase my son bought me ,beautiful. I almost
cried. Then I read Hubbies card. It sounded like I
was a neighbor in the neigborhood who had a
birthday. Well there went Romance. Then I realized
I can't get mad at him this man has to use a
magnifying glass to see with.
I got my extra birthday present yesterday when he
got a call his glasses were in. Now he has no
excuse. When I drove with him it was like I was
his seeing eye dog. Scary. Send him to the grocery
store and it was always a mystery what he was
bringing home. I even made out extra large letters
on list. Well now maybe things will be not as
scary or mystery products and if I get a card from
him a little more Romantic. Looking forward to a
few more years with him.

Isabella |
Update on Isabella
I have had several people contact me since the
July newsletter was sent out to find out how
Nathaniel's friend Isabella is doing. I am pleased
to report that her grave condition has improved.
She is no longer in the Intensive Care Unit and we
are hopeful that she will be able to return home
in the next few weeks. Her recovery and any
lasting effects from this illness are not known,
although given what her body has gone through, it
is highly probable that there may be lifetime
issues with her kidneys or other internal organs,
diabetes, or reduced immune system function.
For anyone who is not familiar with her story ...
Isabella is 3 years old. Almost exactly 1 month
ago, she and her younger sister Ellessia came down
with what seemed like a tummy bug with diarrhea
and vomitting. Ellessia was feeling better after a
few days so they went ahead and left on their
vacation to Maine. Isabella's condition worsened
within a day or two and her parents took her to
the hospital in Portland, ME. They discovered she
had an e coli infection. She was admitted to the
hospital and we have been getting several updates
on her condition each week.
Isabella's extended family has set up a fund for
her at a local bank, Claremont Savings Bank. My La
Leche League is planning to contribute to that
fund and we are holding a fundrasiser through the
end of this month to generate funds. Natural
Family Boutique's usual contribution to La Leche
League is 15%. I am personally matching this
amount so that 30% of all purchases will go to the
Isabella fund.
I am expecting new catalogues to be coming in the
next week and all of these products can be viewed
on the website (www.naturallynhkids.com) as well.
We have just significantly expanded our product
line to include many more products for the home
and family. I would be pleased to assist anyone
with selecting products to meet the needs of their
family.
Natural Family Boutique was started by a former La
Leche League leader and the products fully support
the mission and values of LLL. I hope you will
find that this company is a good match for your
family's needs and your gift-giving needs.
All products can be viewed and ordered online at
www.naturallynhkids.com at your convenience
through the end of the month. Please include our
fundraiser number #4747 with the order so that it
is credited to Isabella. We will take orders
through the end of July. Products usually ship 2
weeks from the order submission. If you have any
questions about the company or products, please
contact me at (603) 448-0226 or
naturallyNHkids@aol.com. Please forward this e-
mail to anyone you feel may be interested in
ordering these products.
Thank you in advance for your support of La Leche
League of the Upper Valley and your interest in
raising funds for Isabella and her family.
Warm regards,
Annie Hood

| More about Plants and Gardening |
Well I got my Tomato pouches about three weeks
ago. These were from My Plantmakers site. www.
GreenThumbNotRequired.com
I have them planted and the one I bought from a
roadside nursery aren't doing as well as the
plants I got from Lowe's. I move them out of
direct sunlight at about 10:00am. I think I let
the ones from the nursery go to long before
transplanting them. The one I planted in top of
pouch has flowers on it. The other ones which were
Ruby and another one called July 5 are growing
nicely. I will have to take a picture of them.
It's been three weeks and I still haven't had to
water them.
I really love my PlantMaker site. I haven't had a
home party yet but will be doing them soon. I have
plants growing all over the house. I sure found
out if it says low light it means low light. I put
my Peace Lilly in direct sun and allmost killed
it. She is back to looking great and has calla
Lilly like flowers on it. I have only watered the
Peace Lilly once in two months. I am going to
experiment with herbs next and see if I can grow
themn in the artificial soil.

news update from Annieannes Garden |
Hi
I now have a new grtgrandaughter. She was borned
June 5th,2005, after 21 hours of labor. 7LBS 13Oz
and 20 inches long. It is fantastic to see a new
life being snuggled in the arms of a new father.
It took a little convincing for momma to give her
up. Between the two of them and the granparents I
think she will be a very spoiled little girl.
That is the wonderful new. Momma and baby are
doing wonderful.

| Ramblings of a work from home Mom |
|
Here its the 14 th of May. Almost time for my
Hubby of 41 years to celebrate the day we were
married in the Church. We were married three years
before by civil ceremony.Three years later I
decided he was a keeper so I married him in the
church. Every once in awhile I think I should have
waited a few years longer. But he is like a good
wine he is aging pretty good.
We have 8 grown sons and 21 grandkids and 4 and
almost five grt grankids. One is due in June.Oh I
also have 6 delightful daughter-in-laws. I do have
a few ex-daughter-in-laws who I have manage
(almost) to stay friends with all of them.
I have done a lot of things in my life to keep my
hubby wondering what is coming next.
My latest is becoming a work from home granma. In
more ways then one. What ever I set out to do I do
it to my fullest extent.
I take care of two grt gransons 2 and 5 and help
out with two grnchildren one a little girl
17mo.and the other a 4yr old boy. I shold be the
skinniest granma on earth but I am not.
I love to read, garden grow beautiful house plants
which I use to kill. Which lead me to one of my in
home businesses.
I love keeping up with Health and nutrition as I
have MS and need to keep my self healthy and
strong enough to run after the 4 little ones.
Which helped me decide on my second in home
business. We live in the country and I am aware of
the environment and want to keep it healthy also.
The other I have been in a few years but never did
to much with it after I had over 2000 dollars of
wholesale gifts swiped one day after I had a
Angels to Zebras gift Shoppe yard sale.
Learn a lesson on what and how to prevent it from
happening again.
I am now going to take all three of them and do
something with them. I intend to be able to help
my hubby out of Debt we got into after my having
an accident that kept me in the hospital for
almost 265 days
I will be updating this site with all sorts of
info and hope that people will enjoy it. Here is
my sites I hope you will enjoy and if you decide
it is something you would like to explore be sure
and get back to me.
I am excited to be sharing annieannesgardens with
you. I will be adding different things, fantastic
recipes.helth and wellness info. Places I have
found that might be of interest to some of you.
Ideas for moms and dads and grandparents.
I would love to have you share with me things that
are of interest to you.
Have a Sunshine Day
